Roasted Root Vegetable Salad
GF - Roasted root vegetables, Duck confit, Acorn squash puree, Chevre, Toasted hazelnut and hazelnut oil
- parsnip, carrot, rutabaga, turnip, celeriac
- duck confit: duck leg, cured and slow cooked in duck fat.
- chevre: fresh goat’s milk cheese. We use Stickney Hills from Kimball, MN.
Dakota House Salad
GF - Boston Bibb Lettuce, French Dressing, Shaved Red Onion, Spiced Sunflower Seeds, Shaved Manchego Cheese
- French Dressing: house made. Contains worcestershire sauce (anchovy)
- the vinegars used do NOT contain gluten
- Salads come in starter or entrée sizes NO SPLITS
- Manchego: Spanish sheep’s milk cheese from La Mancha, Spain.
Country Pork Terrine
Possible GF
Pork Shoulder, Toasted English Muffin, Blueberry Mustarda, Crème Fraiche Glaze, Bread n’ Butter Pickle
-terrine: French term for a vessel commonly used for cooking forcemeat.
-pork forcemeat: pork shoulder and pork fat, ground with seasoning and cornichons.
Grilled Beef Caesar Salad

Romaine hearts, Grilled beef tenderloin, Classic Caesar dressing, Grilled Artichoke, Crouton, Hard boiled Egg, Demi Sec tomato, Shaved Parmesan
-Caesar dressing: contains anchovy, parmesan cheese and egg
- beef tenderloin: tender as the night spans two primal cuts, the sirloin and short loin, sits beneath the ribs and gets very little work out…making it the most tender cut
-Demi Sec: medium dry. Marinated in Balsamic, evoo, herbs, sugar and oven dried.
Cold Smoked Salmon Carpaccio
GF
Golden beet, Fennel, Pickled mustard seed, Horseradish cream, Lemon oil, Gin essence, Salmon Roe
-cold smoked: generally, cured for 24 hours and smoked at temperatures close to 99 degrees F. Cold smoking doesn’t cook the salmon. Has a ‘slimier’ texture than hot smoked salmon which does cook the meat.
-gin essence is a light spray of gin over the plate to stimulate the senses.
Cheese Experience
3 domestic cheeses, jar of fun, grape leaf, assorted olives, butter balls, gigande beans, cracker and baguette
- jar of fun and domestic cheese will be posted.
- variety of 3 domestic cheeses. Usually consists of one goats milk, cows milk and blue cheese.
