For bringing in innovations and disruptions in technology of heavy oil and gas industry

What are the features of this initiative ?
A
1) A corpus of 320cr has been put together by contribution of various PSU’s like IOC, ONGC and Engineers India etc
2) It will be used to fund more than 30 startups for nxt 3 yrs
3) The selected startups will work in various energy fields such as converting waste plastics to petroleum fuels and fuel from agricultural biomass etc
4) It is expected to reduce fuel import dependance through innovations in alternative fuels
