Execution of a Normal Takeoff
- Flaps 0
- Advance Throttles to achieve 20” MP
- Check Engine Instruments
- Release Brake
- Advance Throttles to Full Power
- Rudder
- Rotate at 75 knots
- 88 knots/Positive Rate - Gear Up
Execution of a Normal Climb-Out
- Pitch for Vy (88 Knots)
- 500ft AGL - Set power to 25” MP/2500 RPM
(normally 105 knots)
Go-Around Execution
- Apply Max. Allowable Power
- Level wings and stop descent
- Retract Flaps
- Accelerate to Vx or Vy
- Positive Rate - Retract Landing Gear
- Full Power until 500ft AGL or safe altitude
Slow Flight Setup and Execution
Set Up: 1. MRA 3000' AGL 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP U = UP or DOWN as specified P = High RPM
Execution:
- *Flaps - Specified by instructor**
1. Reduce Throttle
2. Maintain Altitude
3. Lower Flaps
4. Rudder
5. Establish airspeed just above stall warning horn

Power-off Stall Setup and Execution
Set Up: 1. MRA 3000' AGL 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP U = Gear DOWN P = Props High RPM
Execution:
- Power - Idle
- Maintain Altitude
- Decelerate to and Maintain 88 knots
- Nose down to establish normal approach attitude
- Below 111 - Flaps 40
- Maintain coordination, heading and bank
Power-off Stall RECOVERY
- Pitch down
- Throttles and Props - FULL FORWARD
- Verify Mixtures are set
- Level the Wings
- Maintain coordinated flight
- Retract Flaps WHILE accelerating to Vx or Vy
- Positive Rate - Landing Gear UP
Power-on Stall (TAKEOFF configuration) Setup and Execution
Set Up: 1. MRA 3000' AGL 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP U = Gear DOWN P = Props HIGH RPM
Execution:
- Flaps 0
- Maintain Altitude
- Decelerate to and Maintain 75 knots
- Apply 18” of MP (throttles)
- Enter Normal Climb
- Increase pitch until stall/impending stall
Power-on Stall (DEPARTURE configuration) Setup and Execution
Set Up: 1. MRA 3000' AGL 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP U = Landing Gear UP P = Props to 2500 RPM
Execution:
- Flaps 0
- Maintain Altitude
- Decelerate to and Maintain 75 knots
- Apply climb power (2500 RPM and 18” MP)
- Enter Normal Climb
- Increase pitch until stall/impending stall
Accelerated Stall Setup and Execution
Set Up: 1. MRA 3000' AGL 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP U = Gear DOWN P = High RPM
Execution:
- Flaps 0
- Maintain Altitude
- Decelerate to and Maintain 82 konts
- MAINTAIN POWER SETTING
- Bank 45 degrees
- Neutralize Rudder and Ailerons
- Yank
Accelerated Stall RECOVERY
- Reduce back pressure
- Throttles and Props - FULL FORWARD
- Verify Mixtures are set
- Level the wings
- Maintain coordinated flight
- Accelerating to Vx or Vy
- Positive Rate - Landing Gear UP
Steep Turn Setup and Execution
Set Up: 1. MRA 3000' AGL 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP B = OFF U = Gear UP P = Props to 2400 RPM **ADJUST POWER TO ATTAIN 125 KNOTS**

- Bank 45 (private)/50 (commercial) degrees
- Increase power
- Maintain Altitude and Airspeed

Maneuvering with One Engine Inop SETUP
Setup: 1. MRA 600'-3000' Throttle demo, 3000' Mixture demo, 4000' Feathering demo 2. Clearing Turns 3. BCGUMP U = As Specified P = High RPM
Execution:
- Identify, verify and feather inop engine
- Zero Sideslip (2 deg Bank, Rudder to maintain Heading)
- Secure Engine
- Monitor CHT (Cowl Flaps as needed)

Execution:
- Set one engine to Zero Thrust
- Throttle FULL on operating engine
- Zero Sideslip (2 deg Bank, Rudder to maintain Heading)

- 83 knots!
- 93 knots!
- Drop Gear/88 knots!
