AAI is usually actioned by the PF however if the autopilot is not engaged or where directed by the PF the PM shall make AAI changes
Any change made should always be checked with an ALT ARM mode on the FCP

The person making the change sets the AAI and shall call
“6000 SET, ALT ARM”
the correct response shall follow
“6000 CHECKED”
