What factors can influence the relationships that businesses hold with stakeholders, and the extent to weather that relationship is positive or not:

Shareholder power and interest

Objectives of the company - Particularly the approach they take to profit (Profit maximisers, charities, profit satisficing - make enough to make there shareholders happy, but focused on satisfying a range of stakeholders)

The management style that the organisation has

The ownership (Sole trader - probably works on the relationships of stakeholders like employees and clients, PLC etc)

Electronic communication - Contacting employees, clients, suppliers etc

Media pressure may have an influence - If there is bad publicity on a company, they could lose suppliers, customers, employees and shareholders.
