A
- lasted 3 weeks (until 25 July)
- pop. (repub) army made limited progress = only 5km of territory in 3 weeks
- lost 25,000 soldiers (many from international brigades)
- lost lots of military equipment
- nationalists lost 10,000 men + retained most of the territory
