A
Blistering, an abrasion, or shallow crater 
epidermis  (outer layer of skin) peels away or cracks open, creating a portal of entry for pathogens
the dermis (middle layer) may be partially worn away

A

The epidermis (outer layer of skin) and dermis (inner middle layer)are gone and the subcutaneous fat may be visible in crater
