- Lots of mistakes
- High attention to make sure they do the task
- Poor timing

A
Associative.

What may be some traits of an associative learner?

- Understand the skill, but haven’t perfected it
- Most learners are in this stage
- Increased success rate
- Perform basics consistently
- Can detect their own errors (but may not know how to fix them)
- Inconsistent performing during match play

A
Autonomous.

A
- Consistent performance with few mistakes
- Can detect errors and fix them
- Can split attention between the skill and other things
- Can perform the skill during open play/match play
