A

Your diaphragm contracts and moves downward, which increases the volume in your chest cavity, increasing the volume, decreasing the pressure

A

Your diaphragm relaxes, and the volume of the thoracic (chest) cavity decreases, while the pressure within it increases. As a result, the lungs contract and air is forced out
