Tell me about a time you had to lead a team through a challenging situation. What were the key challenges, and how did you overcome them?

A

Situation: Development of student booklet for uni students with a 2 week deadline.
Task: design, printing and distribution (Getting different cuisine type restos into the booklet, getting restos to add promo on during this time,
Action: 2 FS, split each booklet into regions (COV , BIRM, AND WOLVES). we had a catchup sessions with the whole team to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Result: Booklet was created and distributed to unis in time for freshers.
Reflection: we bonded as a team and we achieved it in a small time frame which built team morale.

How do you build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues and clients?

A

Helping my teammates out, constant communication, and asking for advice.
Situation: There was no clear handover process for handing key accounts over to the AM. enhanced relationships with FS - AM.

Describe a situation where you had to give difficult feedback to a colleague. How did you approach the conversation?

A

Promo deal with restaurant (60:40 split for 3 months)
Situation: AM turned off the promo after 1 month without informing the restaurant. The RP gives me a call saying the RP is off, reassured the RP saying I will see what’s gone wrong.
Task: dropped her a Slack message for a quick 10-minute call,
Action:
Result: Spoke to the AM and explained the situation and that the RP was not happy when this was off and he received no communication from you, we resolved the issue on the phone. i rang the RP back explaining why its gone off and applogiesed for the situation that occurred. and she had given him a call to apologize.
Reflection: was to make sure we are communicate better with our Restaurant Partners and each other.

How do you prioritize your work and manage your time effectively?

A

Clear structure to my day, plan my day a day in advance (which companies i will be reaching out to), have a dedicated time slot for cold outreach, pipeline management, self prospecting, lead generation and handing accounts over to AEs.

A

Reflect on what has gone wrong, see what improvements I can make, speak to my manager and ask for advice and finally reach out to my colleagues and ask for advice/ help from them.
