SPZ 800 Autopilot Warning Light Panel Flashcards
YAW DAMP (flashing)
One yaw damper channel is disabled.
Observe disabled channel on status panel. Yaw damper is not fail-passive.
YAW DAMP (red flashing)
Yaw dampers error between channel has occurred.
Disengage yaw damper. Select YAW-1 or YAW-2 OFF on status panel. Engage yaw damper. Repeat for other channel if necessary. Yaw damper is not fail passive.
YAW OFF (red)
Yaw damper is inoperative.
Check status panel and circuit breakers. Engage yaw damper.
PITCH TRIM (flashing)
One pitch trim channel is disabled.
Observe disabled channel on status panel. Pitch trim is not fail-passive.
PITCH TRIM (red flashing)
Pitch trim error between channel has occurred.
Disengage pitch trim. Select TRIM-1 or TRIM-2 OFF. Engage Pitch trim. Repeat for other channel if necessary. Pitch trim is not fail passive.
TRIM MAN
Pitch trim is inoperative.
Check status panel and circuit breakers. Engage pitch trim. If pitch trim is inoperative see limitation.
TRIM UP / TRIM DN
Autopilot is not in trim.
Observe trim wheel. If wheel is moving in direction of annunciation, operation is normal. Monitor trim until until light goes out. If wheel is not moving in direction of annunciation, trim manually for light out, or prepare for out-of-trim when autopilot is disengaged.
AUTOPILOT (flashing)
One autopilot channel is disabled
Observe disabled channel on status panel. Autopilot axis with disabled channel is not fail-passive.
AUTOPILOT (red flashing)
Autopilot error between channels has occurred.
Disengage autopilot. Observe status panel for failed axis PITCH or ROLL. select channel 1 or channel 2 OFF in failed axis. Engage autopilot. Repeat for other channel if necessary. Autopilot axis with disabled channel is not fail-passive.
