Master Warning Panel Flashcards
L or R OIL PRESS (red)
Pressure less than 15 psi
L or R FUEL PRESSURE (red)
Fuel Pressure at the inlet to the high-pressure fuel pump is less than 15 psi
Check that boost pumps are on and functioning
L or R FUEL FILTER
Fuel filter is clogged
Shutdown engine if fuel flow becomes erratic
FUEL LOW LEVEL
Fuel level in hopper is below approximately 700 pounds
Open cross flow valve
DC MAIN BUS
DC Main Bus is not energized
Will occur only with battery switch in EMERG position
FLT HYD
Loss of flight hydraulic system pressure has occurred
If system has failed, turn YAW DAMP switch OFF and land as soon as practicable
TRANS/RECT
Transformer Rectifier has no output
Check that a functional alternator has been selected
RADIO HT
Temperature in the radio rack area is 200 deg F
Isolate effected equipment and shutdown
FLT HYD HT
Flight hydraulic system fluid temperature is above 220 deg F
Proceed with flight, investigate after landing
COMB HYD HT
Combined hydraulic system fluid temperature is above 220 deg F
Proceed with flight, investigate after landing
AUX HYD HT
Auxiliary hydraulic pump case temperature is above 300 deg F
Limit use of pump, if possible

Shut off APU alternator
T/R HT
Transformer-rectifier temperature is above 200 deg F
Shut off transformer-rectifier
INV E HT
Emergency inverter temperature is above 200 deg F
Shutdown emergency inverter unless use is imperative
FLT RECORD
Flight recorder is inoperative
Check CB is in
BAT FAIL
Charge current to battery is increasing or above 15 amperes
Disconnect battery by depressing the BAT DISC switch
CAB OXY ON
Bendix 100% demand
Passenger masks have deployed (cabin altitude has exceeded 13,500 feet)
1. Manually-Auto Toggle - MANUAL
2. Check visually for mask deployment and oxygen usage
AUX MAST WARN CB
Loss of one or more of the 16 AUX MAST WARN CBs or MAST WARN #1 or #2 CBs has occurred
EQUIP DOOR
Aft equipment door is not locked
In flight - None
On ground - Check door security
TONE GEN
Aural warning tone generator has failed
Proceed with flight. Monitor affected systems
CABIN PRESS LO (red)
Cabin altitude has exceeded 9,250 feet
Check cabin pressure indicator and controls. If proper cabin pressure cannot be maintained, descend as necessary. Use oxygen as appropriate. Select emergency pressurization if required
CABIN DOORS (red)
Cabin doors are unlocked
Cabin doors, if cracked open: reduce cabin pressure to a practical minimum and land when practical
TRIM OFF
Electric trim is inoperative
Check pitch trim switch and CB. Observe AFM limitations
L and R PITOT HEAT
Check pitot heat switch on
Check CB. Avoid icing conditions
UTIL HYD OFF
UTILITY HYD PUMP switch is in the OFF position
Select utility hydraulic pump switch to NORMAL
IGN
Igniter circuit is energized
Limit use if ignition if possible
L or R MAIN FUEL
Main boost pump has failed
Select alternate boost pump. Turn failed pump off
L or R ALT FUEL
Alternate boost pump has failed
Select main boost pump. Turn failed pump off.
DC EMER FDR
Emergency DC feeder is energized (will be on during APU operations)
ICE DET
Icing is occurring
Switch on ice protection systems. Divert from icing condition, if possible.
L or R GEN
Respective generator is of line.
Reduce electrical load to 250 amps or less.
Generator switch TRIP, then ON.
L or R DC FEEDER
Trip appropriate DC generator, and monitor load of opposing generator.
