Q
SPSS Test Bivariate: Cross Tabulation
A
- Nominale and ordinale.
- It used to examine the relationship between two categorical variables by displaying the data in a contingency table (also known as a crosstab). It’s a super useful tool when you want to see how two variables interact — for example, gender and product preference, or education level and voting behavior.
6
Q
SPSS Test Bivariate: Correlation
A
- 2 scale questions
- This is used when you’re checking the strength and direction of the relationship between two scale (numerical) variables.
7
Q
SPSS Test Bivariate: Regression
A
- 2 scale questions
- This helps you explore the predictive relationship between two scale (numerical) variables: one independent (predictor) and one dependent (outcome).
- This test tells you how much the independent variable influences the dependent variable
8
Q
SPSS Test Bivariate: Independant sample t-test
A
- One dichotomous (question with 2 possible answer) Nominal or ordinal
- One scale question
-This test is used when you want to compare the means of two independent groups on a continuous (scale) dependent variable — to see if the difference between the two group means is statistically significant.
9
Q
SPSS Test Bivariate: Paired sample t-test
A
- 2 scale or
- One nominal or ordinale and one scale
- This test is used when you want to compare the means of two related (or matched) groups — typically before-and-after measurements from the same participants.
10
Q
SPSS Test Bivariate: Anova
A
- One multichotomous (question with more than 2 possible answers): Nominal or Ordinal
- And one Scale (Metric)
- To determine whether the means of the scale variable differ significantly across the levels of the categorical variable.
