What does it mean to “play fairly”?
Follow the rules of the game and if you break a rule be honest about it.
Not using steroids or other drugs to increase or improve your performance
What does it mean to “respect”?
It means to respet the rules of the games and the opponent. Don not injure your opponent, either physically or emotionally.
What does it mean to “never give up”
Don’t stop trying just because you might be losing. It is important to play your best till the end of the game When you do this it not only shows respect for your opponents and the game but also shows winning isn’t all you care about.
What does it mean to “not make excuses”?
If you have been beaten fairly, it is not ethical to make excuses about why you lost.
What does it mean to be a “good winner”?
Don’t celebrate your victory over enthusiastically in front of your opponents but rather have a humble approach and congratulate them on playing well.
What does it mean to be a “good loser”?
When you are beaten, congratulate the opponent sincerely and recognize that they also trained hard and played well. Ask yourself what you can learn from this situation
