generally refers to a confident belief in something for which there’s no proof or material evidence. It can involve a person, idea or thing and it is usually followed by action related to the ideals or values of that belief.
Faith
An organized system of beliefs about higher power characterized by set forms of worship, spiritual practices, and codes of conduct.
Religion
The ingredient in life responsible for positive outlook and even life weakest moments. It enables an individual both to consider future and to work to actively bring that future into being
Hope
We cannot be spiritually whole, spiritually healthy, unless this need is met
To love and be loved
The condition that exists when the universal spiritual needs for meaning and purpose, love and belonging, and forgiveness are met

The movement toward integration, from brokenness to wholeness

Children can have a definite perception of God, as a child matures, life experiences usually influence and mature his or her spiritual beliefs. As we age we rethink life-and-death and sometimes re-examine or we reaffirm spiritual beliefs

Ethnic background affecting spirituality
A person’s culture and formal religion have much to do with whether the basic approach to religion is doing something, being someone, or are continually striving for harmony

Characteristics include: source of power, scripture, ethical code, psychology and identity, expectations, ideas about what follows death

Positive and negative life experiences can influence spirituality depending on how they attribute the experience to god
