Spinal Tracts Flashcards
What do the spinal tracts look like?
What do the Spinothalamic tracts do and where do they decussate and where do they travel?
Decussate at medulla and go to thalamus first then primary sensory cortex
Sensory
Pain and temperature
Decussate immediatley
What do the dorsal columns do where do they decussate?
Sensory

Atrophy
Wht are the symptoms of a sensory neuropathy
Areflexia
Atakia
Anaesthesia
Pain
Sensitive to touch
What are anterior Horn cells?
Where LMN begins but damage causes a mix of UMN and LMN signs
What would give hyper, hypo, areflexia?
Hyper - UMN
Hypo - LMN
Areflexia - Sensory
