What happens in an action potential?
A
1 - Resting/Threshold - 3 x sodium out and 2 x potassium in to keep membrane negative and then ligand gated ion channels open Via NT and sodium enters to reach threshold
2 Rising - rises to plus 40
3 - Falling - VGNC close and VGKC open and they rush out to lower potential.
4 - Hyperpolarisation.
