A
aetiology : hyperflexion injury /direct anterior cord injury
Clinical presentation: loss of pain and temp +motor below level of injury ( with preservation of vibration and proprioception )
prognosis : poor

A
aetiology :hyperextension injury /disruption of blood flow to cord
clinical presentation :quadriparesis ( UL > LL ) +loss of pain and temp ( UL>LL )
prognosis : good

Brown sequard syndrome
A
aetiology: transverse hemisection of spinal cord from penetrating injury /lateral cord compression
clinical presentation : unilateral motor loss ( paresis )and loss of viration and proprioception+ contralateral loss of pain and temp
prognosis : good
