What is the Speed limit anyway?
The speed limit is the max speed expected of you to drive in presumably perfect road conditions
What may happen to the speed limit in less than perfect conditions, an example being bad weather or dirt roads?
It is acceptable to go a bit slower than normal in these conditions, as they are necessary. However, be careful not to go too slow because this can also be a hazard to others
What should you do if you can’t keep up with the speed limit on the highway?
1) Move to the RIGHT lane, this is designated for those moving slower
and/or
2) Find a quieter road that you are more comfortable with
When approaching a turn that’s hard to see, what should you do?
Maintain a safe speed and keep to the RIGHT.
What should you do when going down a steep hill?
Use brakes carefully and set car to a low gear to eliminate the possibility of the brakes failing
