A

Start in anatomical position & abduct both arms to head. 
Painful@ shld but will get better
Make sure thumbs are up!
Measure where pain is a goniometer

Pts arm and elbow at 90
Stabilize elbow and with other hand just above the wrist…bring arm into internal rotation

Apprehension test

A

To test shoulder instability
Abd arm to 90 and ext. rotate elbow to 90
Feel for mm guarding or pain
When it hurts apply pressure to humeral head and move further into ER & see if pain goes down cuz hand is acting as rotator cuff

Slump completely and drop head down, then raise one leg up & look for tension in the leg

A

Supine
Lift leg up slowly to 45
Ask if it replicates the pain
Stretches lumbar plexus and it will be painful
If no pain, int. rotate, ADD, and DF the leg slowly. This works w/sciatic nerve
