How do you perform the Adson’s test?
Therapist finds radial pulse, and extends clients arm while client extends and rotates head to affected side
What is the positive sign/testing for Adson’s Test?
Tests for: Anterior scalene compression and TOS
Positive result: Absent pulse
How do you perform the Halstead’s test?
Have client rotate head away from testing arm. Place hand on radial pulse and slowly abduct arm to 90 degrees
What is positive sign/testing for Halstead’s?
Testing: TOS, with main compression at middle scalene
Positive result: Absent pulse
How do you perform Scalene Cramp/Relief test?
Sitting and rotate head to affected side, pulls chin don into hollow above clavicle by flexing c-spine
What is the positive result/testing for Scalene cramp/relief test?
Testing: TP’s in scalene
Positive result: increase pain in scalences. pain down arm could indicate TOS

Place fingers on client’s radial pulse. ABduct their arm over their head, bending the elbow and letting the hand drop above the opposite ear
Positive side/testing for Wrights?
Testing: Pec minor compression, TOS
Positive result: Absent pulse
How do you perform Pec minor length test?
Supine
observe for shoulder protraction
Postive sign/testing for Pec minor?
Testing: For short pec minor
Postive: If shoulder is protracted
How do you perform ULTT 1?
Depress shoulder and 110 ABduction supinte exten wrist/fingers extend eblow contralat flexion
Postive sign/testing for ULTT1
Testing for: median nerve
Postive sign: different sensation
How do you perform ULTT 2?
depress shoulder and 10 ABduct supinate extend wrist/fingers lat rot shoulder extension contralat flexion

Testing: median nerve
Positive: sensory change
