The Southport Tower Radar Area includes:
All of the Class D Airspace designated as the Southport Control Zone.
Prior to commencement of daily operations, Southport Tower shall advise Winnipeg ACC of the following:
a. active runway for IFR traffic.
b. status of Alert Areas CYA407(M) and CYA413(M).
c. opening and closing of the Southport Tower.
d. any failure of navigation aids monitored in the Southport Tower.
Winnipeg ACC shall operate above the Southport CZ at or above:
a. 4500 ASL with light category types, and
b. 5000 ASL with medium and heavier category types
Winnipeg ACC shall climb IFR departures and IFR missed approaches to ______ before turning
- Southport Tower shall advise ACC when traffic or workload permits the cancellation of this restriction.
Outbound VFR aircraft entering the Winnipeg TCA, will be restricted to _______ by Southport Tower.
2500 or below. Winnipeg TCU may climb the aircraft on initial contact.
For VFR aircraft that will conduct flight operations in Winnipeg TCA Class C airspace, Southport Tower shall:
a. Obtain and assign transponder codes from NARDS flight plans; or
b. If a code is not available in NARDS, contact Winnipeg ACC.
VFR hand-offs for aircraft entering the Southport Control Zone shall be initiated by Winnipeg TCU a minimum of _________
