Sour Standards
Normal ratio is 2 main spirit (60) to 1 Citric (30) to 0,5 Sugar (15)
Sugar can be less if the main spirit is sweet (ex. Amaretto Sour).
Sugar is normally syrup but can also be fruit puree (ex. clover club)
Egg white is often present in which case there’s a dry shake first
Not all are shaken. (ex. Caipirinha, )

Tricks to remember:
Daiquiri is a sour and not a daisy like a margarita. Rum makes you think at pirates, pirates had few elements to work with on the boat, therefore sours were pretty common among them and needed alcohol for the fun, sugar for the bad taste of low quality alcohol and vitamin C for the scurvy. Sour has an easy to remember pattern: Spirit; half of spirit in citrus and half of citrus in sugar
