It’s normally shaken and can be:
Sour (Spirit;Citric;Sugar) + Sodas
( Higher alcohol, 60 )
ex: Tom Collins, Paloma (+grapefruit)
or
Daisy (Spirit;Liquor;Citric;Sugar) + Sodas
( Lower Alcohol, 30, 40 )
ex: Lynchburg lemonade; LIIT

Tricks to remember:
Lynchburg is the hometown of Jack’s Daniel’s in Tennessee so of course it uses Jack’s. It’s technically a daisy… but like usual Americans dilute everything with a soda, so this occasion is not exception and the used Sprite/Lemonade

Tricks to remember:
Tom Collins is a Gin sour with soda. It also gave the name to the Collins glass which is tall and would look empty if you don’t top up with soda. Shaking adds more dilution than simply build in the glass, so there’s no need to fill with a lot of soda, a little top is enough.
