How to write an introduction for source question?
A
For the purpose of this essay I will assess how far sources x and y could be used to….
This will be measured by the two criteria of content and provenance.
They will be considered separately but also in unison to see how far a historian could make use of them.
I will therefore conclude that a historian could make use of both sources to a large extent.
