Process

A

Trained RDI consultant works with family, meeting once or twice a week to establish aims, plan activities and evaluate progress in terms of 6 objectives. Parents video some of their ever day interaction with child for consultant to access. At later point, child is paired with other children during RDI. Progress is monitored and family’s interactions are assessed every 6-12 months.

RDI can reduce ASD symptoms, but its not a cure.
