Mechanism of action
Diffuses across cell membranes of various cells present in all tissue. Binds to DNA regulates gene expression and increases synthesis of proteins and enzymes. Inhibiting inflammatory agents. Inhibits synthesis of pro inflammatory enzymes.

Give only one dose prehospital long term steroid use causes gi bleeding ,prolonged wound healing and suppression of corticalsteriods
