A

Exist Upland areas mayo and Galway, forming expanses of shallow Blacket bogs there infertile often waterlogged making them unproductive

What are podzols

A

Result of heavy rainfall and leaching, as heavy rain falls, minerals in the soil are washed from A horizon to B horizon the minerals form an impermeable hard pan between horizons leads to poor drainage

What are grey soils

A

Form as result of severe saturation of clay soils due to form of hardpans. Water fills pores in soil, removing all air
