A

Yarra Valley - A mix of sandy clay loams in the middle valley and and red volcanic soil in the upper and lower valley.

Adelaide Hills - A mixture of sandy and clay loam.

Tasmania - Ancient sandstones, mudstones, river sediment and soils of volcanic origin.

Alpine Valleys - Mainly formed from river deposits and granite. Ordivician rock features heavily.

A

On the lower slopes of the Vosges the soils are derived from the Rhine delta and are composed of clay, marl, limestone and sandstone.
