A

BERT - Bit Error Rate Tester
The bit-error rate tester:
• Generates bit patterns at one end of a link
• Intercepts the bits at the other end
• Analyzes the received patterns for differences.
The result is a percentage measure of the bits that were incorrectly received, known as the Bit-Errors
