A

ST–Straight tip think of T as “twist.” Any question referring to inserting the cable and then twisting – usually
multimode.
• SC – Subscriber or Standard – square – push in or pull out no twisting
• LC – Lucent – push in and press tab to release
• MTRJ – Mechanical Transfer-Registered Jack – 2 fiber strands – 1 for receiving and 1 for transmitting – push
in and pull out
