A

Involves a person watching the behaviour of role model and then imitating the behvaiour

A

The motivation to repeat an observed behaviour is determined by two main factors

A

Who is being observed: For the motivation to imitate the behaviour this should be a role model

Outcomes for the observed individual: Motivation is more likely if there is vicarious reinforcement

What is vicarious reinforcement?

A

It is when a person isn’t directly enforced, they simply observe person receiving positive reinforcement and it indirectly reinforces the person observing

A

If a person sees someone doing cocain and their peers praise them a person may be more inclined to do cocain more consistently to gain praise - reinforcement vicariously

A
