E:bandura found that children who watched a video of an adult model aggressively attacking a doll were more likely to attack the doll as well and the children who watched the adult interact peacefully with the doll were less aggressive
E:this provided evidence for social learning as the children imitated the modelled behaviour they observed supporting banduras claim that we learn by observing others .in a follow up study bandura found that children were more likely to imitate aggressive behaviour is the model was seen to be praised ,even less imitated when the model was told off.
In the final study bandura found that children were more likely to imitate if the model was of their own gender which provides evidence of banduras concept if identification.
L:therefore banduras research provides strong support for social learning.

E:ecological validity is the extent at which research findings can be generalised to real world contexts.
E:banduras study was conducted in a lab ,an artificial setting. the task to watch a staged video of an adult attack a doll before being invited to play with the doll was also very artificial. therefore its questionable whether the behaviour of the children could be generalised in a real world setting.
L:its possible that banduras research demonstrated social learning within an artificial setting but may not apply inn the real world
