Q

limitation:lack of scientific credibility

A

E:frued developed his theories by studying individual using methods such as dream analysis which h he himself interpreted the meaning of them.
E:his work was empirical l as int involved the collection of evidence. however free relied old his own ability to interpret the evidence making his analysis hight subjective and therefore unscientific. more importantly, frued’s idea has been criticised for being unfalsifiable. for instance the idea that our behave is caused by unconscious motivations is impossible to test, as these motivations cannot be identified until after the behaviour has occurred
L:therefore, it’s arguable that we cannot trust what the psychodynamic approach tells us about behaviour as it lacks the key features of science.
