A

as the number of sources increases so does the influence. law of diminishing - 2+1 will have more effect then 38+1 on increasing influence. ie 2 football player arguing with the referee vs 1.

A

high power and status the targets are more likely to be influenced by them. also when the target see other members of the group as competent, they are more likely to conform. ie wearing uniforms, level of education.
