A
Social development involves learning how to interact with others and provides opportunities and skills to build relationships
This can be impacted due to the difference between the generations and cultural deferences

Solo play
A
- when infants play independently
- limited social, cognitive and physic skill
- allows them to explore the environment at their own pace
- focus attention, become self reliant, learn to make mistakes, increase self esteem

Parallel play
A
- playing alongside others
- not yet able to share or take turns
- may be little interaction although they are doing the same thing
- even with no interaction, they take interest in what others are doing

A
- widen social group
- more cooperative due to language development
- able to share and take turns
- show interest in what others are doing
