What does CAGE stand for?
Class, Age, Gender, Ethnicity
Characteristic of Upper class life style
Lots of money, jobs in business, have fresh food, private school, family all together.
Characteristic of Middle class life style
Decent pay and university earned jobs, healthy food and more expensive, grammar or public school, family together.
Characteristic of working class life style
Playing football, minimum wage jobs, freezer food, state school, government health care, female dominated households still a bit more compact than under class.
Characteristics of under class life style
On benefits, no job security, not healthy food, state school, government health care, female dominated households rare to have a man.
How do you measure social class?
Most of the time social class is based on a person’s occupation which indicates money or wealth.
What does NS-SEC stand for (social class)?
National statistics Socio-economic classification.
What is the NS-SEC used for?
it is used class people into social groups.
