Definition of prejudice
A pre-judgement in favour of, or against a person group or issue.
Definition of Discrimination
The unjust of prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the ground of CAGE.
Definition of racism
Occurs when people are treated differently and less favourable on the basis of their ethnicity. It’s the belief that an ethnic group is ‘superior’ to another.
Definition of institution racism
When the way an organisation works has the effect, possibly unintentionally, of discrimination against an ethnic group.
How old was Stephen Lawrence when he got killed?
He was 18 years old when he was murdered
Who was Stephen Lawrence killed by?
He was killed by a group of 5 white boys in a racial attack in London. He was killed by a 10 inch knife.
Why was the case so famous?
The police investigation was so famous because took way to long to react to the case. This was classed as institutional racism.
