The oppression of Women and the dominance of Men.
What is a weakness of feminism?
A negative is it doesn’t include of aspects of society like ethnicity and it’s only from a women’s point of view.
What are the 3 types of feminists?
Liberal feminist, Radical feminists and Marxist feminists.
What do liberal feminist believe?
They focus on how social institutes such as family, education, mass media encourage male exploitation of women.
What do Radical feminists believe?
They argue the oppression of women is universal feature of all human societies.
What do Marxist feminists believe?
These feminists believe that women are oppressed economically. This is because men control a higher position and women a lesser in economics.
Definition of Patriarchy?
A male dominated society and its institution.
Definition of Exploitation?
The action of treating someone unfairly to benefit from them.
