What is agility
The ability to change position and control the body at speed ( football players when turning with speed )
What is balance
Being able to keep the body stable while at rest or on the move ( hammer throwing )
What are two types of balancing
Static blance ( stationary)
Dynamic balance (being on the move )
What is co ordination
The ability to use two or more body parts together
What are the four types of co ordination
Foot eye co ordination , chest eye or thigh eye co ordination , head eye co ordination , hand eye co ordination
What sports need co ordination
A sport that requires co ordination would be cricket when execution a shot trying to hit a four
What is power
The ability to undertake strength performances quickly
What sport requires power
High jumpers as they are using power to lift of the ground and get higher ( power = strength x speed )
What is reaction time
The time between a stimulus and a movement in response to it
What sports use reaction time
Football - the stimulus may be the ball and the keeper reacts to the flight path
What is speed
The rate at which an individual can perform a movement or cover a distance
What sport uses speed
Short distance running as you need to be quick and win
