A

The idea that more physical activities are more ‘male’ and others more ‘female’ has mostly disappeared but some activities still offer more one sex opportunities than the other

Who can influence others in sport?

A

Children take part in the same physical activities, follow the same sports and support which can be focused by his family.

The influence of your peer group - people of the same age, status amd interests as you - is important. It is much easier to succeed with the encouragement and suppor of friends.

Succesful sportspeople may become role models, inspiring others to take up their sport. Being a role model brings with it’s responsibilities.

Behaviour that falls outsode the norms or what is thought to be acceptable; goes against the moral values or laws of the sport.
