What is it meant by specific?
Targets must be specific to that sport
What is it meant by measurable?
Must be measured and comparable
What is it meant by achievable?
Must be challenging butreachable
What is it meant by recorded?
To monitor success / achievements to track progress
What is it meant by time bound?
Set for a particular time to be completed

‘To take 0.5 seconds off my personal best’

‘I will time my runs every training sessions for the next 5 weeks of training’
