Hematoma will form if fat is not returned
What type of ligatures are placed at the level of the cervix?
Transfixed ligating ligatures
Post op considerations for spay in hamsters?
- Feed immediately after recovery
- Don’t use ABXs unless actually needed
- Disrupts their hindgut
