done in batches (10-50), and can lay 100-800 eggs.
Usually spring-autumn

how long do the eggs take to hatch out?
A
3-4 weeks, the juvenile slugs are vulnerable to predators but start to feed immediately

at what age does reproduction take place?
A
1.5 - 3 months, they are hermaphrodites, start off as male, then grow female organs as an adult

they can survive as long as protected from frost as eggs, young, or adult- the eggs will hatch when warm rain reaches them in spring
