What are Social and Political Implications
From the 1980s onwards, developed countries tightened laws and regulations around disposal of hazardous wastes.
As prices for hazardous waste disposal rose, so did the occurrence of “toxic traders” – the practice of shipping electronic waste to developing countries with less control and regulation.

What is End-Of-Life Management?
Most computers are disposed of before they truly become useless.
More effort needs to be put into selling or donating older computers or upgrading existing systems.
There are organizations that focus on the redistribution of old computers.
Areas around Internet Censorship
Decreases intellectual property theft.
Limits freedom of speech and the press in countries that don’t want their citizens learning about outside views.
Allows a government to control its people.
Reduce criminal activity including terrorism.
Content may be contrary to the major religion of the country (e.g., gambling web sites).
Content may be against the ethos of the ruling government (e.g., hate crimes, communist vs democratic rule).
Define Automated Decision Making
If a decision is taken using personal data processed solely by automated means.
