A
typically a single cannulated screw placed in the centre of the epiphysis
A surgical screw is inserted across the growth plate securing it to the head of the femur.

What are the main symptoms of slipped upper femoral epiphysis?
A
- Pain in knee, hip or groin
- Difficulty walking
- Limp may be present
- Limited movement of the leg
