A

Paradoxical Sleep

  • REM
  • 10 mins / Deep sleep = Difficult to wake up
  • Dreams
  • Body can’t move except eyes
  • Heart rate increases / Rapid breathing + eye movement
  • Gets longer over night

  5. After 90 hours awake - Begin having perceptual distortion , hallucinations , and delusions.

  2. Recuperates - Restores + Repairs brain tissue.
