A

If localized:
- Fusidic acid 2% cream 3-4 times daily for 5 days
- Mupirocin 2% cream up to 3 times daily for 5 days (if MRSA)

If widespread:
- Flucoxacilin 500mg oral four times daily for 7 days
Erythromycin 500 mg oral four times daily for 7 days

  • Permethrin Cream top to tor for 8 hours
  • Treat all in the household and close contacts
  • Explain the itch may take 1-4 weeks to settle
