Soft tissue lesions
Lesion with well diferentiated adipose tissue but atypical hyperchromatic cells
Atypical lipomatous tumour (if cutaneous)
Well differentiated Liposarcoma if deep eg abdominal retroperitoneal
MDM2 and CDK4 positive
Skin lesion with bundles of smooth muscle in dermis arranged haphazardly and some Fat
Nil atypia
Smooth muscle Hamartoma
Especially if congenital
Features of accessory tragus and what syndrome is associated
Polypoid lesion in skin
Presence of vellus hairs ( hair doesn’t extend beyond upper dermis, hair follicles with terminal hair can extend to deep dermis and even subcutis)
Well differentiated cartilage in dermis/subcutis
Generally congenital
Associated with Goldenhaar syndrome
Sometimes with Treacher Collins
Features of Chordoma
Dermal lesion Chondroid looking tissue Nests and cords of cells Many have vacuolated bubbly cytoplasm, physalipharous cells Can have malignant versions
Chondrosarcoma very very rare in skin
Painful lesions in skin
A angiolipoma N neuroma G glomus tumour E eccrine spiradenoma L leiomyoma
Blue bleb naevus
