Cyanosis of the hands and feet, this is a common finding that is normal in the 1st week of life
Describe the phenomenon of harlequin color change.
Vasomotor instability, generally occurs when the infant is lying on their side - lower side os reddened and pink while the other side is pale/blanching with a sharp like of demarcation int he midline.

False. It is abnormal and warrants immediate evaluation (sepsis, hemolytic anemia). Neonatal jaundice caused by elevated indirect bilirubin common during days 2-4 of life.
